Schools Plus’ 2018 Smart Giving Program

6 March 2018 General

Schools seeking new funding for projects that will transform their students’ learning outcomes can now apply to Schools Plus’ 2018 Smart Giving round.

Funding from $20,000 to $75,000 for up to 20 projects will be available immediately, with up to 20 other projects to be promoted to donors from May 2018.

Schools Plus has made it easier for individual or clusters of schools to seek funding in this round. Until April 6, schools can submit a simple Expression of Interest (EOI) to be matched with a donor who will provide funding for their strategic projects.

A webinar to help schools submit a quality EOI will be held on Thursday, March 8 at 4pm AEDT. Schools are encouraged to join the webinar or view it later, to receive useful tips on producing a great submission.

Schools Plus is a national organisation that connects schools in disadvantaged communities with donors who are passionate about education. Since 2015, Schools Plus has funded over 230 projects around Australia, benefiting nearly 60,000 students.

Schools eligible for support through Schools Plus have a value below 1000 on the Index of Community Socio-Educational Advantage (ICSEA).
