Hi my name is Di Haines and I now represent the Midwest coastal region as your State Councillor. I was elected in June 2009.so I'm new and still learning.

I have lived in Geraldton for the past 20 years. All 4 of my children have attended government schools in Geraldton. My eldest daughter is currently studying at TAFE and my eldest son has just completed year 12 (School Based Traineeships). My younger son is currently in year 9 and my youngest daughter is currently in year 6.

I have been involved with the Bluff Point Primary School for the past 13 years with the last 6 years as President of the P&C.

Apart from my P&C duties at Bluff Point, and now WACSSO State Councillor, I also work permanent night duty at the Regional Hospital, and I've just commenced studying at University as an external student. Luckily my husband and children are very supportive and understanding to all of these challenges I would like to encourage P&C's within my electorate to contact me with any inquiries relating to your P&C's.
