Ken was elected unopposed to State Council on 18th December 2008.

With three school aged children all attending Government Schools, and a background in finance Ken is the Treasurer of Roleystone Schools P&C and has acted in this capacity since 2002. Ken was part of the steering committee to oversee the merger of the Roleystone Primary School and Roleystone District High School P&C Associations.
