Verity Harris is married to Rob and has three children Adam (17), Andrew (12), AND Kiralee (10) and they run a mixed farm 10 kms from Cuballing and all three children attend school in Narrogin. Verity first became involved in P&C's in 1998 and has held various roles and is currently the President of the East Narrogin Primary School P&C and the Secretary of the Narrogin Senior High School P&C. As well as this she is also on The Vi Barham Board and the Parent representative on the Hotham Pallinup Lakes LCP committee.

As the Narrogin State councillor Verity is passionate about rural education and believes that all children have the right to a first class education regardless of where they live in the state. She welcomes feedback from all parents in the Narrogin Electorate and also from parents in rural areas that may not have a representative at State Council.
