My name is Terry Brown, I attended primary and high school in this district and settled in Kenwick where my three children all went to East Kenwick P.S. Later two went on to Maddington S.H.S. and one went to Kelmscott S.H.S. I now have two grandchildren going to school in the Canning Central district.

I became involved in the East Kenwick P.S. P&C in 1984, and am still a P&C member. In 1992, I was elected to the position of WACSSO State Councillor, now called Canning Central District. All the years that I have represented the district I am proud to say that I have only missed three WACSSO State Council meetings.In 2008 I was elected as a Councillor to the City of Gosnells even though I am now semi retired.

The Canning Central District Council is the longest serving WACSSO district council, we have five meetings per year to share information and encourage P&C’s to network. Our meetings start at 7pm at Bramfield Park Primary School in Maddington. Meetings usually last about an hour, please contact me for the next meeting date.
