P&Cs, have your voice heard!

Conference is WACSSO’s key annual event. Conference guides the direction of our organisation and serves as the platform for future activities and initiatives.

This highly-anticipated event is the one time of year public school parents and the education community from across Western Australia come together to learn and share experiences.

The official constitutional functions include the consideration of new policy, determination of priority issues, and mapping action for the coming twelve months.

Affiliates can have their voice heard at Conference in two ways:

  1. Raise an agenda item in the Annual General Meeting section of the agenda. This is your opportunity to raise the important topics and issues facing your school communities at the State level. For more information about how the Conference Agenda Session is run, we suggest watching the videos displayed below.
  2. Pose a question to the Minister for Education or the Director General, Education.
