Your councillor is Julia Foong
I am delighted to introduce myself as your newly elected State Councillor for Canning North. My name is Julia Foong, with 3 children, the eldest in Year 5, second child in Year 3 and my youngest starting Kindy in 2025. I am also about to start a new job as a Doc Controller.
For the past three years, I have been a member of the Oberthur Primary School Parents and Citizens’ Association. During my time there, I have seen firsthand the positive impact that the P&C can have on the quality of education our children receive.
As parents and carers, we are vital partners in education. P&C associations play a crucial role in advocating for students, enhancing their learning experience, and fostering a sense of community and partnership within schools.
As your Canning North Councillor, my aim is to help create a strong connection between WACSSO and affiliates within the Canning North electorate and to support and guide you to achieving your goals as a P&C Association.
If you have any questions about WACSSO or its activities, please feel free to contact me. I am eager to get to know you and learn from your experiences, and I am excited to work with you to build an effective P&C network in Canning North.
